Some flitting moments bear remembering. If I could capture images from my mind and share them with you, I would. Instead, I have to resort to mundane cameras and lenses to share some of the more vivid moments that nearly slipped right by me but now hold me in thrall.

Nature's Thumbprint
It astounds me how some events, nodes along threads of destiny, seemingly unrelated, on hindsight, form a tapestry. I had an injury in 2003, nasty one. Then through my work, I meet people. My injury returns to remind me it's there and needs attention. These people I recently meet so happen to have similar injuries and can share their experience and paths to recovery.
Sometimes, I find myself not the master of the weave, but a rider on a thread being spun into a larger tapestry. I am a vessel carried towards others in events not of my planning or desire, touching other threads and who knows, perhaps sparking a chain of events to come, for better or worse.
A photographer not by paper qualification nor by apprenticeship. I capture moments that invoke reaction, feelings and memories or thought. I simply love the challenge of capturing THE moment through the lens.
